The author, a former policeman, has included a medley of reminiscences and anecdotes, narrated with candour and a twinkle in the eye. This slim volume contains an eclectic mix of opinions, satire and sarcasm, peppered with self-deprecatory humour. Interspersed are pieces written during the lockdown enforced due to the Wuhan virus. These provide a somewhat different dimension to Lockdown Literature, and show that humour is as good an antidote as any other for lockdown blues.
