Commemorative issue: COVID 19 – Honour of everyday heroes standing their ground during the emergency crisis

The National Bank of Hungary is issuing 10 and 20 Forint commemorative coins to honour all those who had the lion’s share in the country successfully fighting off the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic, the bank said in a statement.

“As a token of recognizance of and respect felt towards our compatriots who played an outstanding role in the defence against the coronavirus pandemic, the National Bank of Hungary is issuing commemorative versions of the regular circulation 10 and 20 Forint coins,” the bank said.
