Dr Sushil Sharma MBBS, DO (Ortho), MCh (Ortho), FJRS (Swiss) is a senior consultant Orthpaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon at Kailash Super Specialty Hospital, Noida and RK Orthopaedic Hospital, Delhi. He is author of the book Defeat Osteoporosis. He is also Chairman, Arthritis Foundation of India (AFI), a not for profit NGO working in the field of bone and joint health. Through his vision and commitment AFI has been able to positively contribute to the awareness about bone-related ailments and education of general public and medical personnel. He has represented AFI at many national and international conferences, forums and has received international awards for the commendable work. He has hosted and organised many public awareness and scientific events. For several years now, AFI has been demanding a National programme for Bone and Joint health from the Government of India.
