For Collectors of Vintage TRIBAL JEWELLERY, A varied collection of 18 Traditional RINGS/ TOE RINGS (70+ yrs age).
2 in Silver, & 16 in Brass & Bronze, this traditional collection is from the tribal belts of Central India. Historically, Jewellery for the feet, viz. anklets and toe rings have been worn for centuries by girls and women in India, in varied ranging designs. Two Rare ones (which have points sticking out) were used during marriage ceremonies while doing “pheras”.
Condition: Excellent, Left with their original patina. Without any polishing or cleaning.
Size: between 2.5 cms to 6.5 cms as seen.

Antique B/W Lithograph
₹14,500.00 incl. GSTDescription: an antique black & white lithography print of the original painting by the artist Schmidtmeyer made in 1820. Camping in the night of ‘Muleteers from Mendoza’, persons who rode mules from one place to another.
Condition: Good considering the 70+ year age of the lithograph. Very light water stain is visible in the front and back right hand bottom corner not affecting the image area. However, a very small dent is visible on the tree in the left side of the image. The lithograph is pasted on a handmade paper and the mount is punched to show that it was part of an album as shown in the image.
Marks or identifications: This lithograph is marked with Roman numerical “L” on the right bottom corner probably indicating a page number of an album.
Size: the size of the lithograph is 43 cm x 32 cm and 49.5 cm x 32 cm (including the paper mount on which it is pasted)

Condition: It comes with its original metal sheet backing which shows some corrosion but overall seems OK. Unfortunately, the exposure to air and moisture has left some stains at the bottom and left side of the painting as seen in the image.
Artist: unknown, the art is derived from the Nathdwara school of painting

Hansli is an ornament that is worn by man, women & children. It derives its name from the collarbone on which it rests. The basic form of ‘hansli’ is a rigid circular brass or silver torque with a hollow or solid construction.
