VINTAGE ORNAMENT “HANSLI”: A vintage (70+ years age) rigid torque necklace in brass with chased work from the tribal belts of Central India.
Hansli is an ornament that is worn by man, women & children. It derives its name from the collarbone on which it rests. The basic form of ‘hansli’ is a rigid circular brass or silver torque with a hollow or solid construction.
Size: 14.5 cms x 13 cms
Weight: 500 grams (approx)
Condition: Good, considering its 70+ year age and as seen, naturally patinated & unpolished.

Vintage Collectible – BULL-FACED DOOR KNOCKER
₹13,500.00 incl. GSTVINTAGE BULL-FACED DOOR KNOCKER : A vintage (70+ years age) Bull-faced Door Knocker in brass with a rigid but hollow torque ring with chased work from the tribal belts of Central India.
This intricately carved home-accent was used as a door knocker. Made in brass (considered to be auspicious as it is a part of ‘Panchaloha’ or the five-metals, these door knockers adorned homes of the nobles.
Size: 8.5 cms (depth of the bull or distance from wall) x 17 cms (length, from top (hook) to end of the ring)
Ring size: 14 x 12 cms
Weight: 600 grams
Condition: Very Good, considering its 70+ year age and as seen, naturally patinated & unpolished. This is a complete piece with no parts missing or damaged. -

2 in Silver & 16 in Brass and/or Bronze, this traditional collection is from the tribal belts of Central India. Historically, Jewellery for the feet, viz. anklets and toe rings have been worn for centuries by girls and women in India, in varied ranging designs. Two Rare ones (which have points sticking out) were used during marriage ceremonies while doing “pheras”.
Condition: Excellent, Left with their original patina. Without any polishing or cleaning.
Size: between 2.5 cms to 6.5 cms as seen. TO BE SOLD IN FULL LOT ONLY.
