Officially this stamp was released on 30 Dec 2016. It was part of the Legendary Singers minisheet. The stamps were probably printed earlier in the year and the release was perhaps delayed. Some of these were sold inadvertently by the post offices that were perhaps not aware of the delay in release, and some stamps found their way to be in actual postage usage.
This block of 4 stamps was used on 31 May 2016, posted in Aizwal, Mizoram.
