Description: an antique black & white lithography print of the original painting by the artist Schmidtmeyer made in 1820. Camping in the night of ‘Muleteers from Mendoza’, persons who rode mules from one place to another.
Condition: Good considering the 70+ year age of the lithograph. Very light water stain is visible in the front and back right hand bottom corner not affecting the image area. However, a very small dent is visible on the tree in the left side of the image. The lithograph is pasted on a handmade paper and the mount is punched to show that it was part of an album as shown in the image.
Marks or identifications: This lithograph is marked with Roman numerical “L” on the right bottom corner probably indicating a page number of an album.
Size: the size of the lithograph is 43 cm x 32 cm and 49.5 cm x 32 cm (including the paper mount on which it is pasted)
