The Government of Thailand issued this large 60-baht note to commemorate Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX)s sixtieth birthday. The note measures 159 mm by 159 mm. The obverse paints a divine image of King Rama IX: King Bhumibol is seated on the royal throne wearing a military uniform and the Chakri Dynasty royal robe. The throne is protected by Kranok tongues of flame. The royal emblem is printed in green-to-blue optically variable ink and the bank emblem of Thailand the Phra Siam Theva Thiraj is seated while holding a bag of money and a walking stickare also featured on the obverse side of the note. The reverse side of the note is a picture of the royal family interacting with a crowd. The security features of the note are a solid security thread with printed Thai text and a watermark of a triangle.PLEASE TREAT ALL THE IMAGES AS REFERENCE ONLY AS WE HAVE A HUGE STOCK. Condition: It comes with its original metal sheet backing which shows some corrosion but overall seems OK. Unfortunately, the exposure to air and moisture has left some stains at the bottom and left side of the painting as seen in the image.
